Today, may you hear the melody that is older than man.
“Good, Good, Exceedingly Good” as the Master savors His work.
Written in notes of belovedness and wonder,
Drawing us back to its ancient tones.
May your heart learn to strum the melodies of gratefulness.
Fully here. Fully now. Alive to the wonder of ordinary grace.
May you gain the eyes of a child, able to marvel, savor, and play
In the depth of God’s eternal love.
May it lead you to worship. Not only in word and deed but from the heart.
To experience the shalom of his goodness. Today. For you.
May this feast create within you hunger for the one that is to come.
To hear across your soul, declarations of unashamed love.
As our hearts are tuned, may we hear the joy that we will sing for all eternity.
May in giving thanks, we become a people of thanks and echo the melody of His glory.
Amen.
